Owners of Cedar Rapids Wine Shop Choosing To Close After 2 Decades
Over the last 2-3 years, throughout the pandemic and staff/supply shortages, we've heard about so many businesses being forced to close their doors or shifting their business models to keep up with the changing economic climate. A handful of them have simply decided, by choice, that this is an excellent time to move on and explore other endeavors. This is the case with the First Avenue Wine House in Cedar Rapids which recently announced on Facebook, that as of June 24th, they will close for good, saying:
It has been said, “All good things must come to an end.” This certainly applies to the adventure we have had with the 1st Avenue Wine House. Many of you might be asking “why” and our answer is that after nearly twenty wonderful years in business, we have decided now is the time to explore the next chapter of our lives and we could not be more excited. Please know this is not a decision we HAVE to make rather a decision we are READY to make. It has been a great joy to serve this community and in return, we sincerely appreciate the support we have received from our customers. Our success is because of you. We thank each and every one of you!
