For 18 years I have had the privilege of working in the same place at 104-5 KDAT. But as they say, all good things must come to an end. I must announce that I am moving on.

...to a different studio...

...down the hall...

..in the same building.

Sorry to scare you--or get you excited like that, but it is kind of a bittersweet time for me right now. I am absolutely staying onboard at KDAT.

But tear-down began on the most beautiful radio studio I've ever seen and worked in earlier this week, as we are swapping rooms with our sister station 98.1 KHAK.

That's what it looks like now.

I'm definitely going to miss this studio, not just because of how spacious and beautiful it is (or should I say was) or how long I worked in it, but...that view!

The good news is we are moving into a studio we are equally familiar with and staying in the confines of the same building we've always been in. I'd sure miss my co-workers if that wasn't the case. Rest assured, very little will change for you, the listeners, during and after the transition. I may or may not be trying to talk management into approving some upgrades on the new/old digs we're moving into. Stay tuned.

Thank you for your continued support...and please pardon our mess on and off the air for the next couple of weeks.
