We're only a few days away from the start of Cedar Rapids Restaurant Week! This year's event will officially kick off this Saturday, February 20th, and run through Saturday, February 27th.

Cedar Rapids Restaurant Week is always an important event for locally-owned businesses, but it's especially crucial this year thanks to the pandemic and last year's derecho. The Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance is encouraging Eastern Iowans to stop out and enjoy "brand new carry-out menus and carefully crafted dishes and cocktails prepared especially for you!"

The list of participating restaurants was announced a few weeks ago, but here they are in case you missed them:

Ahead of Cedar Rapids Restaurant Week, many of those participating restaurants have already announced the special items and deals that they will be featuring throughout the week. For example, Bari Italian will offer Blackened Lobster Mac n’ Cheese and Seafood Stuffed Calamari, Lion Bridge will have Cherry Jalapeno Jam Paninis with whipped Goat Cheese and Take & Bake Chicken Bacon Alfredo, Lucky's on 16th will be serving Pulled Pork Breakfast Hash and Rueben Bites, and Vito's on 42nd is featuring Vito's Bruschetta and Crab Cakes. Some of the restaurants are also offering special beverage options, too! Check out a full list of specials for Restaurant Week HERE.
