Earlier this month a grain-silo explosion at the Clinton ADM plant claimed the life of 33-year-old firefighter Lt. Eric Hosette. His fellow firefighter 23-year-old Adam Cain was seriously hurt after fighting the fire from the explosion and was taken to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

Cain's father Kevin Cain begged the public for their prayers as his son's condition was worse than what everyone first believed. Adam's injuries caused his lungs to "swell and weep fluids", as reported by CBS2. Now, those prayers appear to have been answered. According to a Facebook post from the Clinton Fire Department, Cain is "doing great and on the road to recovery".

We're so glad to hear Cain is doing well and that he seems to be in good spirits (as seen in the "His sense of humor is contagious as usual!" comment).

The cause of the ADM explosion is still under investigation by OSHA and NIOSH according to KCRG.
