Early-risers can get a jump on their movie viewing starting this Friday, September 27 as Collins Road Theatres announce new morning showtimes.

6 days a week (Monday-Saturday), instead of waiting until noon to see your favorite show, you'll also be able to pop in for a start time between 10-10:30 a.m. from now on! It's a great way to enjoy a day off from work or start an old-school full-day movie marathon.

Nothing else is changing. They will have top current movies available at low ticket prices ($5 for the early show--otherwise, $5.99 matinees, $7.99 evening admission for adults and $5.99 evenings for kids under 12, and $5 Tuesdays). PLUS,  the amazing self-serve real butter for the popcorn is not going anywhere either!

The lineup of early movies available this Friday include Downton Abbey, The Lion King, Ad Astra, and Hustlers. Learn more here.

Collins Road Theatres and its manager Bruce Taylor have been innovating the moviegoing experience for years in Cedar Rapids for those who just want to enjoy a movie and keep it simple yet comfortable--minus the high-tech frills, and it looks like they're doing it again.
