
CR Man Accused Of Break-In And Sexual Assault
According to the Cedar Rapids Gazette, "A Cedar Rapids man is accused of entering a residence armed with a baseball bat and sexually assaulting a woman." The alleged incident happened Saturday, November 4 in the 1800 block of A Avenue NE, in Cedar Rapids.
Police were called to the scene and arrested 38-year-old Dekota J. Sprague. He's accused of entering the residence without permission and carrying a baseball bat. Sprague has also been accused of pushing a woman to the ground and sexually assaulting her.
When the cops arrived, Sprague didn't go easy. He resisted arrest and refused to comply. He has a full list of charges including first-degree burglary, third-degree sexual and interference with official acts.
