Critically Acclaimed Podcast Brings Live Show to Iowa

In 2012, the sci-fi podcast that set the framework for fictional storytelling podcasts first premiered. Over a decade later, 'Welcome to Night Vale' now has more than 230 episodes and has garnered many award nominations and wins.

Described as a, "twice-monthly podcast in the style of community updates for the small desert town of Night Vale, featuring local weather, news, announcements from the Sheriff's Secret Police, mysterious lights in the night sky, dark hooded figures with unknowable powers, and cultural events."

What To Expect From A Live Podcast Show

Described as "weird theatrical evenings" these live shows promise to bring the audience members into the story in some exciting ways. The event will star Cecil Baldwin, Symphony Sanders and various surprise guests playing characters that fans just might recognize.

Also, fans should anticipate taking in a creepy slide presentation featuring original art, special musical guests, and other live music!

Where & When Will The Show Be?

The show will be put on in Iowa City at the Englert Theatre. According to the podcast's website, the live show will take place on Sunday, October 8th at 7:00 PM.
