The Decorah Eagle cam offers a glimpse at nature we rarely get to see up close. The eagles nest near the Decorah Trout Hatchery each year and thanks to cameras you can watch them in action! You can even watch them lay their eggs and hatch their young, and the first egg of the year has arrived!

The Raptor Resource Project reported that the first egg arrived at around 7:28 p.m. on February 21st. The eagle's eggs usually hatch in late March or early April. The webcam to watch the eagles is always popular, especially with kids. I know mine love watching the eagles and trying to find out when the baby eagle will pop out!

Keep watching these magnificent birds and get ready for baby eagles soon!
