Des Moines Cat Saved From Deadly Drop By Hero Delivery Driver

A lucky feline is safe and sound after a very dangerous incident in late March. KCCI recently did a report on this scary yet sweet story.
On one Wednesday morning, an Amazon delivery driver was just going about his day along his assigned route when he saw something dangerous happen.
The anonymous driver saw the black cat being thrown from a car window around Franklin Avenue and 46th Street in Des Moines.
This hero driver stopped his vehicle and safely scooped up the tiny kitten in his arms. After rescuing the cat from certain death, he did the smart thing and took her to Iowa Pet Foods and Seascapes in West Des Moines, according to a report by KCCI.
The cat went in for a check up and seems to be happy and healthy, according to the officials taking care of her. Soon she will be up for adoption after a brief There are no details as to who or why this gorgeus feline was dumped.
"She's healthy, she ate, she's purring and she's in good shape," said the Des Moines store owner in an interview with KCCI.
