Disney Channel's Descendants 3 premiered Friday (Aug. 2) night with bittersweet feelings after star Cameron Boyce died in his sleep from epilepsy on July 6. The cast and Disney honored him with two tributes during the movie.

The first tribute featured a montage of videos of Boyce throughout the years working on the set of Disney Channel's Jessie and all three Descendants films.

There was a moment during the montage where he made Former First Lady Michelle Obama break character and crack up laughing during a scene they filmed for Jessie.

"Everything you are…Every smile, every laugh, every dance, every hug, every moment, everyone you touched…you mean everything to us," the screen read between clips of Boyce interacting with his Descendants co-stars.

The second tribute came at the end of the film with an image of Boyce in a recording booth appeared. The screen scrolled to read, "For Cameron, Who made every moment count."

Co-star Dove Cameron shared an Instagram screenshot of the cast's group chat with Boyce still in it. His three co-stars shared their love to him moments before the film premiered.

Fans shared their feelings online about the emotional tributes and seeing Boyce act one last time in his final film.
