Disney Drops First ‘Into the Woods’ Teaser Trailer [VIDEO]

For those of you dying to get a peek at how Disney is handling their remake of the popular musical 'Into the Woods,' today is finally your day. The media conglomerate released the first teaser trailer of the dark retelling of the Grimm brothers' fairy tales, and while there's a noted lack of singing for a musical preview, there's plenty of visual goodies to feast on.

The trailer features its A-list cast members portraying their magical characters in a series of short clips of the various stories. There's Anna Kendrick as Cinderella, Chris Pine (looking awfully dashing in blue) as her prince, Johnny Depp as the wolf, James Corden and Emily Blunt as the baker and his wife and Meryl Streep as the creepy, withered witch, who offers the advice, "Go to the wood!" before disappearing in a cloud of swirling smoke.

Between the impressive list of actors and actresses, and the stunning scenery and visual effects, we can understand why fans have been chomping at the bit for a glimpse of the movie!
