Doggone Good Weekend

Cheyenne Park in South Cedar Rapids is a gem for the HeadHunters and Shield Maidens rugby teams and area BMX'ers, that much I knew. Did NOT, however, introduce the place to my beagle until yesterday. Nice combination here of the looped trail and some rugged woodlands. With the addition of the Marion dog park next to Gardner Golf earlier this year, we are blessed to have 2 great parks.  Kudos to K9Cola!

This picture was taken right down the road, just as the snow was fading [timing is everything]. That is a beautiful region, as river valleys always are.

Great way to cap off a fantastic Thanksgiving Weekend. Hope yours was fabulous.
