It's not the news Drew Ott or Iowa Hawkeye fans wanted to hear. Drew Ott's appeal to the NCAA for a medical hardship waiver has been denied.

Ott had been waiting months for a decision and found out Wednesday that his appeal to the NCAA for a fifth season of eligibility has been denied. Ott will now focus his attention on the upcoming NFL Draft which is April 28-30th.
