According to the Cedar Rapids Gazette, "A remote-controlled unmanned aerial vehicle crashed Wednesday afternoon, causing damage to a lawn and ornaments."

The incident happened around 1 p.m. right around the Johnson County Fairgrounds in Iowa City. The story said the drone was at least 100 pounds and had a value of right around $300,000. The crash ended in a total loss to the drone.

The drone took off from the Iowa City Airport when it had some mechanical issues. The drone crashed shortly after it left the airstrip. It landed in a homeowners lawn and smashing into a bunch of ornaments.
