According to CBS2, "The Marion police department responded to a report of smoke coming from the roof of Villa's Patio."

The incident happened on Saturday, June 29th, sometime in the afternoon. Emergency crews were dispatched to the restaurant to investigate the report of smoke coming from the roof.

Once inside, firefighters found the blaze in the kitchen and were able to put out the flames. There is some equipment damage from the fire, and the front of house suffered serious smoke damage. Thankfully, there were no injuries to report.

I really hope Villa's can get their kitchen repaired and back to serving those delicious tacos and margaritas! I've been going to that location for years...they run a great business and the food is always very consistent. I sure hope they will be open again very soon!
