‘Flip or Flop’ Star Christina Hall Gets Tennessee Spinoff: What We Know About ‘Christina in the Country’
Flip or Flop star Christina Hall is taking her work to the south with Christina in the Country.
The Christina on the Coast star is getting an HGTV spinoff but this isn't all about home renovation and real estate. This docu-series is about her new marriage to relator Josh Hall, family life and move to Tennessee as her second home.
The 6-episode show will also showcase her children, 11-year-old Taylor and 6-year-old Brayden whom she shares with her first husband and Flip or Flop alum Tarek El Moussa, along with her 2-year-old son Hudson who she shares with her second husband Ant Anstead.
"I am so excited and grateful Christina in the Country has officially been picked up," Christina told PEOPLE. "I love that I get the best of both worlds—the coast and the country. It's an incredible opportunity to get to work in Tennessee, our home away from home."
Christina's new show was announced after the announcement that Flip or Flop will conclude with its current season after 10 years on the air. As an Anaheim, California native who lives in Newport Beach, Hall loves the country lifestyle and purchased the property in May 2021 after falling in love with the state.
"Tennessee is gorgeous and the people out there are so nice," Hall told PEOPLE last year. "Being out there on all that land reminded me of my favorite childhood memories, which were staying summers on my grandparents' farm. I felt so carefree and loved taking out their quads and hanging with my cousins on all the land."
When she returned for a second trip, she ended up looking at local real estate and fell in love with her now farmhouse property which features 23 acres and is just 30 miles outside Nashville. Since her part-time move, she has enjoyed taking her children to "country restaurants and listening to live music."
