Flood Closures in Cedar Rapids and Marion
Yesterday, the New Bo district was a busy place for Cedar Rapids city workers as flood protection measures were taken.
A couple of additional flood updates for this morning:
Due to flooding along Indian Creek in Marion, the bridge on Boyson Trail near Donnelly Park (290 W. 8th Avenue) in Marion has been closed.
The Cedar Valley Nature Trail under the 8th Ave. SE bridge is now closed. The bike trail is also closed along A St. SW between 15th Ave. SW and the landfill due to flood protection measures.
Justin Roberts at CBS2 says it will be partly sunny with isolated showers possible this afternoon and tonight. Dry tomorrow with sunshine and a high 80. More rain possible later in the week.
