Due to the ongoing COVID pandemic, Hawkeye Community College has scrapped its spring break period, and will be pushing the start of the spring semester back one week to January 19, 2021 KWWL reports. The semester will still end on May 12, 2021 as currently scheduled.

Dr. Todd Holcomb, president of Hawkeye Community College says this is being done for the safety of our students, employees, and community. All lecture-based courses will be online for the first eight weeks of the new semester. Career and technical programs and labs will still be held in-person.

You can find more info on Hawkeye Community College's website.
