We are living in strange times.

A little over a month ago, my friends and I decided to cancel our annual birthday trip. We booked our weekend in Nashville back in January, but as soon as the coronavirus pandemic hit, we knew that it was only a matter of time before we would have to squash our vacation plans. I'm glad we did, because it doesn't look like things will be back to "normal" anytime soon.

I know that a canceled vacation is a very small problem compared to everything else happening right now, but it is definitely still a bummer, especially for my friend who is turning 30. Hopefully, we will be able to make up for it next year in Las Vegas, which is where we'll be going for my 30th birthday!

Because of social distancing, lots of people have been finding new ways to celebrate their birthdays. I'm hoping that you will share some of those ideas with me! How have you celebrated you or your loved one's birthdays these past few weeks? I would love to get some insight for myself and for my friends/family members with upcoming birthdays. I'm sure plenty of other people need suggestions, as well. Share your birthday plans with us in the comments below!
