I love pancakes. Who doesn't? Thick, buttery, covered in maple syrup!  Few restaurants are as well versed in flapjacks as IHOP. Tuesday, February 27th just happens to be National Pancake Day and what better way to celebrate than with FREE pancakes!

Tuesday, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., participating IHOP Restaurants will be serving free short stacks of pancakes. All you have to do is make a donation to the Children's Miracle Network. That is the amazing organization that does such important work with kids and hospitals around the nation, including the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital. Since 2006, IHOP has raised over $30 million for their charities. That's a lot of pancakes and syrup! Their goal this year is to raise another $5 million dollars for local children's hospitals and health organizations.

So stop by your neighborhood IHOP and get your free short stack. Remember, your donation goes to help kids right here in Eastern Iowa being treated in Iowa City! Now pass the syrup!
