The late David Bowie's spirit is alive and well, if widow Iman's Instagram account is any indication.

This morning (January 10), on the one-year anniversary of Bowie's death, the supermodel posted a photo to her account that features a rainbow stretched out across the New York City skyline — it seems to extend into the limits of space "#ForeverAndEver #ForeverLove #BowieForever," she captioned the shot.

Fans immediately leapt to comfort Iman and share their awe of her image. "Of course, he's always with you! This is beautiful. Hugs and love to you and your family," one wrote, while another noted "I admire your courage and grace over this past year immensely, more than I could ever describe — peace and love to you and your family."

Bowie died after a year-plus, mostly private battle with liver cancer, and his ashes were scattered in Bali, a destination that inspired his song "Tumble and Twirl."

Iman, who remained mostly away from the public eye in the moths after Bowie's death, addressed the musician's passing in a September 2016 Good Morning America segment, during which she admitted to struggling.

"It’s just been a tough year, but I’m holding up," she said, and added she wears a particular trinket in memory of Bowie. "I’m wearing this until my death. [Fashion designer] Hedi Slimane made it for me...It just says ‘David.’"
