Indigo Girls To Play Paramount

Folk-rock lovers in the Hawkeye state will love the news that one of the genre's most legendary duos, Indigo Girls, have just announced a concert at the Paramount Theatre.

The date for the Grammy-winning pair's show is Thursday, November 21 at 7:30 p.m. with tickets going on sale Friday, July 19 at 10 a.m. through the Paramount Theatre website and Box Office.

The Indigo Girls are Amy Ray and Emily Sallers, and in selling over 14 million records, they are still going strong. They are said to be the only duo with top 40 titles on the Billboard 200 in the '80s, '90s, '00s, and '10s.

Tickets start at $39.50. If you're a fan of the Indigo Girls' signature blend of folk, rock, pop, and classical music, you won't want to miss it.

They also have another date listed in Iowa, at the Hoyt-Sherman Place in Des Moines on November 13. Tickets to that show go on sale this Tuesday, July 16.
