The long-suffering football fans of the Cleveland Browns got to finally celebrate last month. They got a win after nearly two years of losing. And they got to celebrate with free beer! Budweiser put locked fridges of Bud Light in bars around Cleveland prior to the start of the NFL season. The only stipulation of unlocking them? A Browns win. Now a bar in Iowa is doing the same thing for some suffering neighbors.

Barley's Bar in Council Bluffs, Iowa has a cooler of beer just waiting for fans of Nebraska football. But they need to win a game first if they want to enjoy them. The fridge features the following message.

In the spirit of being Iowa nice, Barleys is offering a gift to our neighbor who is hurting. Their once proud program can't seem to win a game. When the Big Red ends the 2nd longest losing streak in the nation, enjoy some 'Frosty' beverages on us.

The message pokes fun at new Nebraska head coach Scott Frost who has had a rough year, to say the least. Their first game was canceled due to rain, and they've lost the last three games including a blowout loss to Michigan at home.

Bar owners say the gesture is done in the spirit of Iowa Nice. But they hope they don't have to crack open the fridges on Black Friday. That is when Nebraska plays Iowa.
