According to KCRG, further delays to the start of its Farmers Market and other parks and recreation changes were announced in Iowa City.

The summer Farmers' Market season had already had been rescheduled to begin June 7. That is now moved to no earlier than Independence Day, July 4th.

In addition, no new reservations at park shelters and facilities in parks will be taken until further notice and rentals and permits are canceled until the end of May. Organized group sports through the Parks & Recreation department are canceled this summer and are scheduled to resume August 15, 2020, for the fall season.

Recreation centers, swimming pools, splash pads, skate parks, park restrooms, and playgrounds remain closed until further notice and the department will not publish a summer recreation brochure.
