It might not feel like it right now, but Iowa was just named one of the top five LEAST stressed out states in the U.S.!

I think it's safe to say we're all feeling a bit stressed right now because of the current coronavirus situation. According to a new survey from WalletHub, not surprisingly, coronavirus has become the biggest source of stress for Americans in 2020. But coronavirus aside, on an average day, Iowans are much less stressed than the rest of the country.

WalletHub recently released their annual list of the most and least stressed states in America, and Iowa did very well. We were number 47 out of all 50 states, which means only three states are less stressed than us: Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota. We came in 47th for 'work-related stress,' 45th for 'money-related stress,' 42nd for 'family-related stress,' and 39th for 'health and safety-related stress.' We were also ranked number one in the country for most affordable housing!

If you don't want to live in one of the most stressed states in America, then you should probably avoid the south! Louisiana, Mississippi, and New Mexico did the worst in this particular study.
