Iowans, make sure you get out and vote November 8th!

According to WalletHub, some states are much more important than others when it comes to determining who will take office. What do they mean? Well, to put it simply:

"In a presidential election, voter power varies widely by state. While all votes are theoretically counted equally — one person, one vote — the choices of swing-state citizens are more influential. The electoral results of swing states are up in the air, giving their voters more impact."

WalletHub analysts calculated the "voter power score" of each state, based on the presidential and senate elections (for the exact formula they used, click HERE). Turns out, Iowa voters are pretty darn important, especially when it comes to the presidential election. We ranked second in the survey with a voter power score of 189.88, only behind Arizona, whose score was slightly higher at 207.05. For the senate elections, we were a little bit farther down the list, but still came in 13th place out of all 50 states.

Remember to get out and vote on November 8th!
