Iowa Man To Play On ‘Wheel of Fortune’
Iowans have been pressing their luck, so to speak, on game shows and reality shows quite often lately, and we've just learned of another contestant from the Hawkeye state.
A Maquoketa woman appeared Tuesday night on "Wheel of Fortune" but we're sorry to hear she didn't do so well. Another Iowan has a chance to do better this week.
West Des Moines' Jason Craig, an attorney, and father of 3 will be on "Wheel of Fortune" Wednesday night, September 18. He says he became a contestant through a "Wheelmobile" event in Osceola. The show travels around the country looking for future contestants to be on the show, and since he's been an avid fan and viewer along with his wife for many years, he thought he'd try his luck.
He appears during "Spa Getaway Week". We hope he wins some big money and prizes! Some new elements have been added to the show this season, including the "Triple Toss-Up Round" for a $6,000 prize replacing the $2,000 Toss-Up Round for contestants who can quickly solve rapid-fire puzzles.
"Wheel of Fortune" can be seen weeknights at 6:30 p.m. on KWWL, Channel 7.
