The emotions of one softball player apparently got a little out of control Sunday at a softball game in Des Moines.

During a Sunday game at the Greater Des Moines Softball Complex, Des Moines Police say 29-year-old Lance Ulrich got into a disagreement with an umpire about a foul ball. He was reportedly so livid he used profanity and the umpire ejected him from the game. That's when witnesses say Ulrich shoved the umpire, who fell backward to the ground, suffering a minor injury to his wrist.

Ulrich was charged with assault with injury and booked into the Polk County Jail. WHO says he posted bond Sunday night.
