Iowa Women’s Basketball Game Postponed

The University of Iowa women's basketball team's game at Michigan tonight has been postponed. The reason for the postponement is because of the cold weather that the state of Michigan is dealing with.

I'm surprised they postponed the game, as the Iowa team had already made the trip. The game has been rescheduled to an 11 a.m., Iowa time, tipoff Friday. It will no longer be televised by the Big Ten Network.

The Iowa women are 16-4 on the season and 7-2 in conference play. They've won five straight games heading into the Friday tilt against the Wolverines. Michigan is 12-9 on the season and 3-6 in the Big 10. However, they're 8-1 at home.

The University of Michigan will remain closed until Friday morning. That's when officials say they hope to resume classes.
