Iowans Share Their Embarrassing Childhood Photos [GALLERY]

I don't know about you, but I feel like my "awkward phase" last about eight years. I have so many embarrassing childhood photos. Luckily, I've learned to embrace those years and I'm no longer afraid to show them off to the world!

Earlier this week, Brain was tagged in an old photo on Facebook. As soon as I saw it, I knew I had to roast him about it. His big teeth, green shirt, and super skinny arms made him strongly resemble Gumby. But, I returned the favor and showed him a couple of my old pictures, which were just as bad, if not worse. My personal favorite features my round glasses, my very jacked-up teeth, and my half grown-out bangs. Just look at this 5th-grade fashionista:

Digging up our terrible childhood photos inspired us to ask you for yours! We took to Facebook this morning to post our pictures, hoping that other Iowans would join in. Boy, did you ever!
