It's no secret gas prices are painfully high and it doesn't look like it's getting any better any time soon.

Still, in Iowa, it's cheaper than the current national average. Iowa's average gas price per gallon, according to data from the AAA, is $3.89. Illinois, meanwhile, is notably higher at $4.53.

The national average, says the AAA, is $4.25 for a gallon, which is the highest it's been since 2014, as we were getting out of the recession.

The most expensive gas in the country is California, not really surprising. It has a current, gag-worthy pricetag of $5.57 per gallon. Listen, if we ever hit that point in Iowa, you will see me riding around town on a bicycle like the Wicked Witch from The Wizard of Oz.

“Forget the $4 per gallon mark, the nation will soon set new all-time record highs and we could push closer to a national average of $4.50," GasBuddy analyst Patrick De Haan said. “We’ve never been in this situation before, with this level of uncertainty. ... Americans will be feeling the pain of the rise in prices for quite some time."

If you want to know where you can get the gas cheapest around here, check out GasBuddy. They're a good outlet I've used before to find the places that won't totally break my bank (though the higher price tag invariably sucks). Check it out if you're going anywhere for Spring Break.

Of course, we all know what's going on in the world to prompt this. This comes as the Russian invasion of Ukraine keeps going on and President Joe Biden put a total ban on Russian energy imports.

Ghosts Of The Station

Today we will be looking at three ghost sightings, and the spots they were seen at.

These three "Ghosts" could all be the same one or three different ones. Though I still think the Music video ghost is by far the creepiest. As far as we know that was the only figure we ever caught on film, and not just in a picture.
