Mom's proud and Jeff, as she refers to him, is embarrassed. Both are supporting a wonderful cause.

Jefferson White has been doing a great job playing "Jimmy Hurdstrom" on the popular Paramount Network show 'Yellowstone' for four seasons now. During some downtime from the show, the Mt. Vernon, Iowa native and his mom did a public service announcement video for Horizons' Meals on Wheels program in the Cedar Rapids area.

As discussed in the video below, Meals on Wheels is looking for volunteers to deliver meals on a one-time basis or to take on a weekly route. However, it's so much more than delivering a meal to a senior. It's bringing a smile, a conversation, and could also be recognition of health concerns or risks inside the home.

Meals on Wheels is a wonderful organization that my dad has been volunteering with for more than 15 years. As a senior himself, he knows the importance of those meals and everything else that comes with the visits.

Back in November of 2021, Horizons started using a new app called 'More Than a Meal.' KCRG reports the app is being beta tested by Meals on Wheels volunteers in Cedar Rapids. It provides information for those delivering meals, including who they're delivering to and how to get to where they live. They can also put information into the app, including concerns, that go back to Horizons to be acted on quickly. If you'd like to volunteer, you can do so HERE.

Thanks to Jefferson (Jeff) and his mom for recognizing the importance of this organization and service. By the way, I think you'll agree after watching the video below that's one proud mom. And as far as Jefferson being comfortable in front of the camera... I believe we now know where that came from.

We look forward to season five, Jefferson. And, of course, the new show 'Yellowstone: 6666' that you'll be starring in!

PICS: See Inside the Historic Texas Ranch Where the New 'Yellowstone: 6666' Spinoff Is Filmed

The massive, historic Texas ranch where the new Yellowstone spinoff Yellowstone: 6666 is filming has sold for just under $200 million, and pictures show a property that is truly part of Texas history.

The 6666 Ranch — better-known as the Four Sixes Ranch — in Guthrie, Texas, dates back to 1870. The ranch centers around a 13-bedroom, 13-bathroom, 13,280-square-foot main residence, which is constructed of quarry rock that was hauled to Guthrie by wagon. The ranch also includes vast, sweeping fenced pastures, farmland, fenced-in pens for cattle, a more recent addition for horses, a water filtration plant that serves the ranch's water needs and more.

There are separate camp manager's homes in both the North Camp and the South Camp of the ranch, which encompasses nearly 225 square miles of land. Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan is part of a group of investors who recently acquired the property for $192 million, and he has been shooting his new show out there in recent months.
