ISU Continues To Lead With Its Agriculture Program

Well, if you’re looking into graduate programs, you don’t have to go far if you’re looking for a top-notch agriculture program.

The ranking was released at the end of March in US News and World Report, ranked Iowa State University’s agricultural and biosystems engineering graduate program number 2 in the country. Now I know number two isn’t number one but their program I can argue is just as good as the number 1 program, Purdue University. Iowa State’s program ranked just 1/10^th of a point below Purdue’s.

The two schools are no stranger to duking it out for the first-place position. Three years ago, the two tied for first place, then ISU ranked first. In the last two years, Purdue has taken the title, but only by a small margin.

But this isn’t the only program to be recognized in this year’s graduate program rankings.

The statistics program tied for 10^th place among public schools and the higher education program ranked 15^th among public schools.
