ISU Continues To Lead With Its Agriculture Program
If you are going to pay a lot of money to go to school and get your degree, don’t you want to make sure you’re getting your money’s worth?
Well, if you’re looking into graduate programs, you don’t have to go far if you’re looking for a top-notch agriculture program.
The ranking was released at the end of March in US News and World Report, ranked Iowa State University’s agricultural and biosystems engineering graduate program number 2 in the country. Now I know number two isn’t number one but their program I can argue is just as good as the number 1 program, Purdue University. Iowa State’s program ranked just 1/10th of a point below Purdue’s.
The two schools are no stranger to duking it out for the first-place position. Three years ago, the two tied for first place, then ISU ranked first. In the last two years, Purdue has taken the title, but only by a small margin.
But this isn’t the only program to be recognized in this year’s graduate program rankings.
The statistics program tied for 10th place among public schools and the higher education program ranked 15th among public schools.
