Parents Allow 15-Year-Old Daughter to Date 24-Year-Old Man

A woman on Reddit is raging after finding out that her parents are allowing her younger sister, 15, to date a 24-year-old man.

"I can't believe my parents are protecting them and telling me that I am disrespectful and rude," the concerned sister wrote.

Her parents have even refused to tell her and her sister's older brothers "because my sister 'isn’t ready to tell them yet.'"

"I, as an older sister, am heartbroken over this and do not understand how they portray me as crazy," she continued.

Now, the frustrated young woman is contemplating cutting off contact with her family and reporting the man for dating her underage sister.

Users sounded off in the comments section, with many slamming the parents for allowing the relationship to continue.

"Report this to a teacher or to the school principal. They have a duty to report this," one person wrote.

"They are idiots. A 15-year-old doesn't know what 'love' is. You need to tell them that there are actually laws against that kind of 'love,'" another user commented.

"An adult guy is preying after a girl going through body changes and hormonal changes making her more insecure... How on earth is that 'love' if she can't even properly decide for herself yet? Your parents should be protecting her," someone else weighed in on the situation.
