It’s been four months since Ryan Wolf embarked on his State Officer journey with Iowa FFA as the NE Vice President. When he embarked on his journey, he says, he didn’t quite know what he signed up for.

From leadership training to traveling, to help with state contests, it's safe to say Wolf has had a busy summer.

And now we are here at the State Fair, we are working, we're getting to see all of the members, and we're getting to visit with people that come to our booth here in the Agriculture Building. And we're just going to get talk about FFA and tell them what are tell them why we're here.

While at the Iowa State Fair, Wolf and the other officers have been hard at work. The team rotated between the Agriculture Building, the FFA Headquarters, and the Animal Learning Center, all with the same goal in mind- the promotion of agriculture.

And time flies when you're having fun. We are halfway through the State Fair and as Wolf looks back at his time already at the Iowa State Fair, his favorite part is what he describes as “a little controversial”.

Where I am staying at the State Fair is the Hillcrest building above the Youth Inn. The guy state officers are staying up there with all the male FFA ushers; the opportunities to get to interact with those members and start building relationships because that's what I wanted to do when I got elected was built relationships with members.

So for anyone visiting the Iowa State Fair, be sure you stop by any of the FFA booths and talk with any of the state officers about their experience here at the fair and during their term.
