In November of this year, I will have lived in Iowa for TEN years. Where does the time go?!

Something I've learned over the last ten years as a Cedar Rapidian is just how beautiful our state really is. I have seen some of the most gorgeous sunsets and sunrises since my move to Iowa, as well as some awesome stormy skies. I love the fall colors and the sprawling farm fields, and I still get excited when I drive past cows and horses. I even think our winters are pretty, despite how horribly cold it gets! We have rolling hills, bluffs, caves, and some pretty great river views, too. I know we're considered a "fly-over state," but I think Iowa is much more beautiful than people would expect!
