Brain & Courtlin Unveil Their 2024 Halloween Costumes

We take Halloween very seriously here at KHAK!

Every year, I force Brain to partake in my favorite holiday, Halloween. I will typically choose a theme, and then we will dress up in costumes for the morning show. We like to keep our costumes a secret until then, and this year, Brain actually kept his costume a secret from ME, too!

We're excited to reveal the official theme for our 2024 Halloween costume...

I chose the Lorax, and Brain went with the Cat in the Hat. Here are the pictures:

To be honest with you, I'm not totally sure where the inspiration for this year's theme came from. I remember seeing a hilarious viral video last year of some girls all dressed as the Lorax randomly running into each other in Iowa City, so that might have had something to do with it. I also figured it would be a fairly easy costume for me, and Brain would have plenty of options with a Dr. Seuss theme! He could be as simple or as intricate as he wanted to be with his costume.

November marks 10 years since Brain and I have been doing the morning show together, and we've been doing Halloween costumes since 2016. It's a tradition that I hope to continue for as long as Brain will tolerate it! Here's a brief look at all of our costumes over the years:
