During her time at the University of Iowa and with the Indiana Fever in the WNBA, Caitlin Clark has been loyal to one kind of basketball shoe. The Kobe Bryant series produced by Nike. Yesterday, Clark debuted a new pair of Kobes designed just for her!

At the Indiana Fever practice on Tuesday, Caitlin Clark debuted the Nike Kobe 5 Protro in a never-before-seen colorway, according to Sports Illustrated. The shoe features a yellow upper, black heel, gold Swoosh logos, and a navy gradient design on the midsole. No one else has the design except for Caitlin Clark.

In the video, Clark said the shoe "is Fever, but it's also Iowa. So it's got the best of both worlds." SI reports that Clark also teased another Kobe collaboration coming soon that will be even more Fever-inspired. She also noted that her new player-exclusive shoes are similar to the Bruce Lee Kobes that she wore at Iowa and with the Fever.

So now the bad news. Sole Retriever reports that the Nike Kobe PE made for Caitlin Clark is just that. A player exclusive. The shoes will not be available to the public, at least not yet. Plus, don't forget Nike is still producing a Caitlin Clark signature shoe that will no doubt take the world by storm! I guess we'll have to wait a little longer.
