Brand New Eastern Iowa Food Truck Serves Burgers, Wings, & Quesadillas

A new food truck is set to hit the streets in Cedar Rapids this week! Meet Street Bites, Eastern Iowa's newest mobile kitchen.

About Street Bites

Street Bites is a brand new food truck based in Eastern Iowa that has a focus on "made-to-order comfort food." Their official website reads:

"Street Bites started with one idea — serve food that makes people stop in their tracks. Every burger is smashed to order, every burrito is loaded with care, and every taco reminds you the best food doesn't need a fancy address."

Signature and "must try" items on Street Bites' menu include their Street Tacos, St Bites Burger, Smash Burger, Bacon Cheese Fries, Hot Wings, Hawkeye Nachos, and Birria Tacos. There are plenty of additional options, too, like walking tacos, six different types of burritos, quesadillas, breakfast bowls & burritos, jalapeno poppers, and mozzarella sticks. The Grand Opening

Street Bites' grand opening is today (May 5th) from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and in honor of Cinco de Mayo, every child can get a free meal! The truck will be stationed in the parking lot at 4425 Center Point Rd NE in Cedar Rapids, which appears to be the location you'll be able to find them at regularly. The business' website says the truck will also be available for catering and events in the Cedar Rapids, Waterloo, and Dubuque areas.
