If you're not a fan of super scary haunted houses, this might be a better option! Midwest Haunted Rails has lots of family-friendly activities for the family to enjoy these next few weeks.

Midwest Haunted Rails is located at McMillan Park on S Walnut St in Mount Pleasant, Iowa and features a whole bunch of fun Halloween activities for all ages. There's the Ghost Train, the Ghostly Trolley, and the Haunted Carousel, as well as bouncy houses, carnival rides, food and more. It is completely separate from Thrashers House of Terror, which is also located on the grounds of Midwest Old Threshers. You can read more about that attraction HERE.

Wristbands for Midwest Haunted Rails are $15 per person (kids four and under are free) and include unlimited rides on the attractions. They can only be purchased on-site under the Grandstand. Credit cards ARE accepted at the ticket booth, but it's important to note that food and games on the grounds are cash only. Parking at the event is free.

Midwest Haunted Rails will officially kick off the 2023 season this Friday, October 13th and run the rest of the Fridays and Saturdays in October. It's open Friday night from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday night from 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The last admission is sold 30 minutes before closing, but it's recommended that you arrive early to give yourself plenty of time to enjoy all the activities. For more details, you can check out the official website HERE.

Midwest Haunted Rails is just one of a bunch of different haunted attractions in Eastern and Central Iowa this fall! See a full list of 2023 attractions HERE.
