University of Dubuque Launches Global Online Degree Programs
According to a recent press release, the University of Dubuque is bringing the Spartan learning experience to students wherever they call home. How you might ask? With the launch of UD Global, a 100% online learning platform beginning May 4th, 2026. For folks across Dubuque and beyond who need flexibility without sacrificing quality, this is welcome news on the education front.

Built around the promise “Same University. Same Support. Anywhere You Learn,” UD Global makes it clear: online students are just as much a part of the UD community as anyone walking across campus in Dubuque. That means access to the same faculty, academic advising, tutoring, career services, and student support resources.
Classes run in convenient eight-week sessions. Full-time students take two courses per session, while part-time students can take one. This is ideal for working adults, parents, or anyone juggling life's many responsibilities. It’s education designed with our Midwest work ethic in mind. Tuition for UD Global undergraduate programs is $330 per credit hour, with textbooks and certain fees separate. All that being said, UD Global has launched with two in-demand programs.
Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity
Cybersecurity focuses on information security and digital protection — a field that’s only growing. Students prepare for careers as risk advisors, security consultants, computer forensics specialists, and networking and security professionals. Starting salaries for cybersecurity graduates average between $65,000 and $70,000, with potential to climb higher depending on role and location.
Bachelor of Business Administration in Business
This program covers the full scope of business preparing graduates for careers in operations, banking, manufacturing, and more. That includes studying accounting, finance, marketing, management, HR, and economics. UD business and accounting grads report average earnings of $53,500 five years after graduation.
The University of Dubuque has offered distance education through its undergraduate, graduate, LIFE HyFlex, and seminary programs for over 20 years. UD Global builds on that experience and expands access to high-quality online education across the world.
If you’ve been thinking about finishing your degree or starting fresh, UD Global might just be the next right step; and it doesn't matter where you’re logging in from. Find more information about the programs offered by contacting the institution here.
