Is ‘Haunted’ Annabelle Doll Still Coming To Western Illinois After Handler’s Death?
The most prolifically creepy doll is headed to the Quad Cities.
Annabelle, the allegedly haunted doll that lived in the Warrens' Occult Museum in Monroe, Connecticut, is now touring the U.S. as part of the 'Devil's on the Run' tour.
Annabelle is thought to be demonically possessed. She is a Raggedy Ann doll that was bought in 1970 and could allegedly write, move around the house, and is supposed to be the reason a young man on a motorcycle drove head on to the tree after taunting the doll.
Earlier this month, Dan Rivera, one of Annabelle's handlers, suddenly passed away at an event with her in Gettysburg. It isn't clear what his cause of death was, as he was found unresponsive in his hotel room and foul play was not suspected. Because of the abruptness of his passing, many are linking it to the doll.
Now, after Rivera's death, many people are wondering if Annabelle will continue to tour the U.S. Before, she was set to be in Rock Island on October 4th.
The Rock Island Roadhouse Esoteric Expo had one phrase when NBC Chicago asked if Annabelle was still on the slate:
Annabelle is still coming.
Annabelle (the doll) was thought to be possessed by a little girl named Annabelle. A porcelain version of the Annabelle doll was seen in "The Conjuring" movies and in the "Annabelle" movies.
The expo in Rock Island will be October 4th, with multiple events, including a midnight seance, the Warrens' Devils on the Run museum, and more. You can get tickets at this link.
