7 ChatGPT Roasts Of Eastern Iowa And Western Illinois Towns
This is what AI was intended to be used for, right?
I don't much use ChatGPT except...to roast.
ChatGPT trends can be fun, like when everyone asked it to make us into action figures or when we all asked it to roast our Instagrams. Now, we put another target into ChatGPT's roasts: QCA towns.
Our hometowns and where we live are one of those things that we can snark on and complain about but when non-residents put them down, we'll snap back. Let's not forget when a producer on ESPN's "The Pat McAfee Show" quipped that "the Quad Cities is a s***hole" and that caused a wee bit of backlash.
The Quad Cities (which is way more than 4, as we all know) was established back in the 1800's. The Army bought Arsenal Island in 1804, in 1848 John Deere moved to Moline, and in 1854, the railroad reached Rock Island. Davenport has a long history with the railroad too.
Our area's rich history is great (if you're a history dork like me) but there's no denying certain aspects of towns nowadays. It's random things that still exist and things you deem boring because they're so routine.
So we asked ChatGPT to roast 7 QCA towns: Davenport, Bettendorf, Moline, Rock Island, Muscatine, Clinton, and Milan. (I don't have enough time in this lifetime to do roasts for all of them, k?)
ChatGPT delivered on these roasts, from ripping into potholes, economies, and nightlife that ends by 8.
