Everything You Need To Know For The 2025 Mississippi Valley Fair
The week of fried fair food and rides like the Zipper has arrived.
Your 2025 Mississippi Valley Fair is going on this week, from Tuesday, July 29th-Sunday, August 3rd. 9 grandstand acts will perform Tuesday night-Sunday night, in addition to more live music, exhibitions, and festivities at the fair.
To make your life easier, before you head out to the fair this week, here are a few things for you to keep in mind:
Parking At MVF
Remember: if you park not at the fairgrounds but in the neighborhoods around it, you risk being towed. There are a bunch of signs along those roads saying you cannot park there during the fair. I've heard several stories of people being towed from doing so, so probably not worth the risk.
Mississippi Valley Fair has a parking and layout map to help you out. Plus, there will be attendants at the gates that are great about helping you figure out where to park.
Even though parking can be frustrating, be nice to the MVF parking attendants. Don't be one of those snippy people. They're there to help you.
Win Stuff With Us
As always, your favorite radio stations (97X, I-Rock 93.5, B100, and US 104.9) will be on Grandstand Way, right across from Chuckie's Famous Tenderloin and the Parkview Lutheran Church food stand.
We'll be set up with our Plinko board, which you can win fun prizes on! If you don't know how to play Plinko, watch the video below (but you're not winning a million bucks on our board, sorry).
2025 Special Days At MVF
The Mississippi Valley Fair has special days to help you save on admission. Here's what this year's schedule looks like:
- Tuesday: Special Needs Day (special needs individuals free admission until 2:00 p.m.)
- Wednesday-Sunday: Carnival Wristband days ($30 unlimited rides from 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.)
- Thursday: Senior & Kids Day
- Sunday: Military Day (free admission for all active & inactive military with ID)
Free Entertainment & Live Music Lineup
We know what the grandstand lineup will be after the adjustment to the lineup last week.

But there will be 6 tents at the fair with live music for most of the day. Here's the live music lineup for those stages too.
Fair Food, Shows, Grounds Attractions
This year, for the first time, the Mississippi Valley Fair will have it's own butter cow! It will have multiple grounds attractions, including a Tiger Experience, a kid's tractor pull, and a lumberjack show.
But the fair isn't complete without fried, greasy or sweet goodness. You can see the list of food vendors for MVF 2025 at this link.
We'll see you this week at your Mississippi Valley Fair!
