
Davenport Set to Host Quad Cities’ Main Halloween Parade and Trick-or-Treating
Parade Scheduled for October 26 in Downtown Davenport
Halloween spirit is about to take over the Quad Cities, as Davenport prepares for its annual Halloween Parade. The 2025 parade is set for Sunday, October 26, at 2:00 PM in downtown Davenport. Families are encouraged to dress up, bring candy buckets, and enjoy one of the community’s most popular seasonal traditions.
The streets will come alive with superheroes, witches, monsters, and ghosts as schools, youth groups, businesses, and local organizations hand out candy to children along the route. The parade is designed to be family-friendly and interactive, giving kids a chance to collect treats in a safe and festive setting.

Location: Downtown Davenport
Parking: Downtown parking ramps will be free from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on parade day, but access to certain ramps may be restricted while the parade is in progress.
Candy Rules: To keep everyone safe, parade participants are asked not to throw candy overhand.
Citywide Trick-or-Treating Set for October 31
For those looking forward to the traditional door-to-door experience, Davenport has announced its citywide trick-or-treating will take place on Friday, October 31, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Children are encouraged to bring flashlights, wear reflective gear, and trick-or-treat in groups to make the evening both fun and safe.
