A woman in Northern Iowa has pleaded not guilty to multiple charges after showing up in a gas station completely naked, covered in blood, and trashing the store.

Mason City Police say 32-year-old Cheri Decker of Mason City walked into a Casey's at 813 North Federal Avenue in Mason City around 9:30am on December 19th. According to reports, she was completely naked, and covered in blood.

They say Decker knocked over shelving units and broke glass bottles from shelves, as well as threw them at employees. It's written she also slapped a customer and store employee with her bloody hands.

Mason City Police Department also covered multiple consumables and product packages with blood, all of which had to be disposed of. The issue for the store was that because of the amount of blood on products, food machines, and the amount of blood around the store was too much for the store's crew, so they had to close for the day and hire out a professional cleaning crew. Damages are estimated around the $10,000 range.

Four hours later, MCPD was dispatched to the MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center Emergency Room, because Decker was there and allegedly spit on a security guard, and was “acting in an assaulting manner” while hospital employees worked to get her under control.

Decker plead not gulilty on Monday to first-degree criminal mischief, a Class C felony; assault causing bodily injury or mental illness, a serious misdemeanor; plus simple assault and disorderly conduct.

She's out of jail currently awaiting trial after posting a surety bond of $6,000 to be released from the Cerro Gordo County Jail.
