As an Illinois resident who spends a lot of free time in Wisconsin, I follow a lot of Wisconsin-focused social media pages to learn interesting facts and cool things happening throughout the state. (Added bonus: when you know about "Wisconsin things" you aren't immediately labeled a "FIB".)

One of my favorite pages to check out is Meanwhile In Wisconsin, because of things like this:

Yes, Meanwhile In Wisconsin posts a lot of jokes at Illinois' expense, but they also post things like this:

Now, at first glance, cheddar-flavored vodka looks like another one of Meanwhile In Wisconsin's pranks, but after doing a little more searching, I think it might be legit.

Is Cheddka Vodka Real?

Cheese is one of my favorite things to eat, but cheddar-flavored vodka? It seems too ridiculous to be real, but it's not.

First off, Cheddka Vodka has its own official Facebook page and is being distributed throughout Wisconsin:

I don't know. Are you guys willing to give Cheddka a try? We're heading up to Wisconsin again in a couple of weeks, so maybe I'll try to find it when I'm up there.

I wonder how it would taste when chased with crackers? I'm still kind of hoping this vodka is a prank.
