Wisconsin Meteorologist Takes Savage Swipe at Chicago Cubs
Chicago Cubs fans are not happy with one Wisconsin meteorologist (and obvious Milwaukee Brewers fan) who sprinkled a little smack talk into a recent forecast report.
Cubs Fans vs. Brewers Fans
For the record, my interest in baseball doesn't travel much further than my daughter's little league softball games, but I do know that tensions are always high between Chicago Cubs and Milwaukee Brewers fans and it doesn't take much to set them off.

Almost everyone I know is a die-hard Cubs fan, and the fact that the Brewers are having a hell of a season right now is not sitting well with them, and thinly-veiled, savage comments like this don't help:
First, let's all acknowledge that this is the most Wisconsin way possible to talk smack, casually weaving an insult into a lame weather report. I mean, the only thing that it's missing is a cheese plate and some beer in the background.
I may not be a die-hard Cubs fan, but I'm definitely not a Brewers fan, so I will just say this:
An Open Letter to Chicago Cubs Fans
Dear Down-On-Your-Luck Cubs Fan,
Don’t let a Brewers fan steal your joy. You back a team that broke a 108-year curse and actually has World Series titles to show off. If anyone knows how to survive a dip in the standings, it’s you.
Wisconsin can throw shade and believe that divine intervention is on their side this season due to the passing of Bob Uecker, but we lost Hall of Famer Ryne Sandberg, so we've got an awesome guardian angel on our side too.
Just remember this, Brewers fans get real bold in the summer. Soon they’ll remember that the Cubs have actual history. We’ve got Wrigley Field, Harry Caray, and that magical “2016” that still haunts Cardinals fans in their dreams. Milwaukee has a stadium named after an insurance company and a sausage race where the winner is…another sausage.
So, keep flying that W and don't lose hope, Cubs fans. Humidity comes back. So do standings, and hot streaks fizzle out quickly.
