Caleb Toney was a youth pastor in the state of Iowa at one point in time. After several allegations against him, he may never see the light of day again.

According to WHO13, the 26-year-old "is charged with two counts of assault with intent to commit sexual abuse, one count of assault, three counts of supplying alcohol to persons under the legal age, and one count of permitting minors to consume alcohol."

The incidents took place in Ankeny, Ames, and Elkhart, Iowa.

He was arrested on Monday.

Commander Dan Walter with the Ames Police Department told WHO13 that the first of the incidents happened in 2017 when he allegedly gave a 15-year-old boy alcohol and touched him in an "unwanted, insulting, and offensive” manner once he was intoxicated. Court documents obtained by the news station add that "he provided alcohol for a 15-year-old and a 16-year-old on multiple occasions and allowed them to drink at his Ames residence."

The remaining incidents with Toney took place in Ankeny and Elkhart between 2019 and 2020. Another set of court documents says that "the victim alleges Toney got into bed with him and touched his genitals when he and an underage friend spent the night at his home in Elkhart. Toney is also accused of touching the victim’s genitals while the two were sitting on a couch at an apartment where Toney lived in Ankeny."

The former youth pastor worked at two separate churches over this time period.

He is currently scheduled for a preliminary hearing that will take place on December 16.
