Iowa, Get Ready — ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Is Coming to Town!
Now that 'Dancing With the Stars' is over, what am I supposed to do with my Tuesday nights?
On Tuesday, November 26th, the Mirrorball Trophy was awarded to the latest champion of the dancing competition show. 'Bachelor' star Joey Graziadei and his partner Jenna Johnson were dubbed 'Dancing With the Stars' season 33 champions.
I'm happy for you, Joey, and Imma let you finish, but Ilona Maher had the greatest 'Dancing With the Stars' arc of all time!
The rugby player-turned-Olympic bronze medalist-turned-TikTok star was my personal favorite, and I was really rooting for her to win the whole thing.
Although she came in second this season, the fan favorite isn't slowing down. Maher is now set to play professional rugby in England with the Bristol Bears.
If you're like me, and are a bit bummed that the season is over now, I've got some good news for you!
The team behind 'Dancing With the Stars' are taking the show on the road for a winter tour in 2025 that will take some of the biggest ballroom stars right to Iowa.
Described as a show that will showcase, "spectacular brand-new numbers dreamed up by Emmy award-winning choreographer Mandy Moore as well as some of the viral showstoppers featured in season 33 that launched a million TikTok posts."
Dancing with the Stars: Live! is a touring show that will feature standout pros from this past season like; Alan Bersten, Brandon Armstrong, Britt Stewart, Daniella Karagach, Emma Slater, Ezra Sosa, Gleb Savchenko, Pasha Pashkov and Rylee Arnold.
That's Cool And All, But Who Are The Stars That I Could See?
One of the standout stars from this past season will actually be co-hosting the show.
Olympic gymnast Stephen Nedoroscik affectionately nicknamed "Pommel Horse Guy" will be traveling across the country hosting this tour with Emma Slater. There will be a whole slew of celebrity guests who will be dropping into the ballroom in 2025.
Mirrorball winner Joey Graziadei will be performing on the tour starting in January for select dates. Finalist Chandler Kinney is also set to make a few appearances starting in February with Ilona Maher only making one appearance in the spring.
These pro dancers are slated to perform in Iowa this February. As of right now, Chandler Kinney and Stephen Nedoroscikt along with the rest of the pro dancers are slated to come to Ames on February 13th.
